Introduction

The Idea of making a family tree was initially started by Dr. Ramesh Shenoy & Sri. Manmohan Shenoy, under the guidance of Late Sri. Sreenivas Shenoy. Sri. Sudhakar Shenoy was also doing the same on his own. Later Sri. Sudhakar Shenoy handed over all his data to them. Initially the work was on paper & there were limitations as the tree started expanding. This was rectified to an extend with the help of computer & word processor in mid nineties. We had to limit our study again as the tree started to expand & we stopped the continuation of the tree once a daughter gets married. Due to various reasons the study was discontinued. Now with the latest software meant for making family tree, the study has restarted. I am still in the process of updating the data almost every day. I have collected the names of about 400 family members & is in the process of collecting their Postal addresses, email ID, phone nos, birth date, marriage dates etc. The idea of creating the web site is to enable all the Pendikars who are interested to keep in touch with their relatives

                   In the initial page, provision is made for signing up / visiting the guest book, to join the mailing list (so that the latest happenings will be informed to all through the email). There is a “Quick Mail Box” – so that a visitor can send an email to web master directly from our site. There is also provision for sending e-greetings to others and finally a search facility for whole web.
